Cookie Policy
This page explains the cookies and similar storage Crawle uses to run the app, keep accounts secure, and remember workspace context.
Last updated: May 9, 2026
Summary
Crawle only uses cookies that are needed to provide the app experience requested by users. We use them for authentication, account security, workspace selection, and client or tag filtering. We do not use these cookies for advertising, third-party tracking, or selling personal data.
Because these cookies are necessary for the app to work, they are always active. If we add analytics, advertising, or other non-essential cookies later, we will ask for consent where required before using them.
Cookies We Use
Authentication and session cookies
Keep you signed in, protect account sessions, support email verification, and secure two-factor authentication flows.
Usually up to 7 days for app sessions. Trusted 2FA devices may be remembered for up to 30 days.
crawle_workspace_id
Remembers which workspace you selected so the app can show the correct sites, alerts, exports, settings, and dashboard data.
Up to 12 months, or until you switch workspace, sign out, or clear browser cookies.
crawle_scope_client_group_id
Remembers the client filter selected inside a workspace so agency users can keep the same client context while moving between app views.
Up to 12 months, or until you clear the client filter, switch workspace, sign out, or clear browser cookies.
crawle_scope_tag_id
Remembers the tag filter selected inside a workspace so filtered dashboard, site, issue, change, alert, and export views stay consistent.
Up to 12 months, or until you clear the tag filter, switch workspace, sign out, or clear browser cookies.
Managing Cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. If you block necessary cookies, parts of Crawle may stop working. For example, you may be signed out, the selected workspace may not be remembered, or client and tag filters may reset between pages.
