What GSC adds

GSC connects Crawle's crawl data with Google's site ownership and search data where permissions allow.

  • Site verification can use GSC access.
  • Search Analytics can enrich dashboard and reporting views.
  • URL Inspection is quota-limited and prioritized over time.

Limits

Google APIs have quotas and property access requirements, so Crawle should communicate availability clearly.

  • URL Inspection has daily quota limits per property.
  • CrUX field data is only available where Google has enough field data.
  • Disconnecting GSC does not stop Crawle from crawling the site.
