Crawle in Microsoft Teams
Crawle monitors your sites continuously and flags what changed since the last crawl: status codes, titles, canonicals, meta robots, redirects, and links. This app delivers those findings to Microsoft Teams channels, so a regression reaches your team the day it appears instead of at the next scheduled audit.

What the app is
The Crawle Teams app is registered as a notification-only bot. It carries findings into a team; the workspace, sites, and alert policy stay in Crawle.
- It posts to the channels you choose and links each notification back to the incident in Crawle. It does not read channel message history.
- It is installed into a team. There is no personal or group-chat scope, and the bot does not answer messages sent to it.
- Uninstalling the app in Teams, or disconnecting Microsoft Teams in Crawle, stops delivery.
How it works
From Microsoft Teams install to the first routed incident
Install the app package in a team
Teams needs the app present before Crawle can create a channel conversation. Download the package below and install it through the Teams admin centre or your team's app policy. Tenants that block custom apps need an administrator to approve it first.
Connect Microsoft Teams in Crawle
Sign in to Crawle as a workspace owner or admin, open Settings, Notifications, and complete the Microsoft consent prompt on the Microsoft Teams card. Crawle is a verified Microsoft publisher.
Choose the team and channel
Crawle lists the teams and channels the signed-in account can reach. Save one channel as the workspace default, override it per site where a client needs its own feed, and send a test notification after every change.

What lands in the channel
Each notification arrives as an Adaptive Card with the severity tone in the header, the trigger and affected-URL count as facts, and a link into the incident in Crawle. The capture below is the test notification Crawle sends from workspace settings; production alerts use the same card layout, branding, and links.

The package
Version 1.1.1 is the current package. Verify the download against the published digest before you upload it to your tenant.

- The checksum file is published next to the package so an administrator can verify it independently.
- The app is not listed in the Microsoft Teams Store yet. Manual installation is the current path, and the package is the same artifact the Crawle app settings offer.
- Crawle posts nothing until a channel is saved in Settings, Notifications.
What you need
- A Crawle subscription. The Teams app carries alerts from an existing Crawle workspace; it is not a standalone product.
- A Crawle workspace owner or admin to connect it, disconnect it, or change the workspace channel. Crawle enforces that on the server, not by hiding the control.
- Permission to install a custom Teams app in the tenant or team, which in many tenants means an administrator approval step.
